Qafqaz University signed Memorandum of Understanding with the ANAS ICT Institute on joint cooperation and collaboration.
Yesterday,
Qafqaz University signed Memorandum of Understanding with the ANAS ICT
Institute on joint cooperation and collaboration. During the ceremony,
the rector of Qafqaz University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sanic gave a speech
about the recent activities of the university. Having spoken about the
accomplishments that the university implemented for the development of
education Dr. Sanic especially emphasized the role and significance of
information communication technologies.
According
to his words, Qafqaz University is amongst the leading private higher
education institutions in Azerbaijan. The university is distinct with
the quality of education and modern conditions established for the
students which meet international standards as well.
In his
speech, the Director of the ICT Institute and Associate Member of ANAS
Dr. Rasim Aliguliyev stressed the role of the President of Azerbaijan HE
Ilham Aliyev in the development and prosperity of education and
science. Dr. Aliguliyev highlighted the role of education, science and
information technologies in a contemporary world and mentioned the
notable progress in these directions. In addition, he drew attention to
the significance of future relations between ICT Institute and Qafqaz
University in this process.
Following, a
memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed by both
sides. The protocol of cooperation was signed by A. Sanic and Associate
Member of ANAS R. Aliguliyev. The memorandum of understanding
encompasses different articles on
joint scientific researches, development and implementation of
innovation projects, training of academic staff, joint conferences
and seminars, etc.
