Azerbaijan as a “One Whole” for me

On
December 31, as an initiative of the Department of Culture the
university organized literary night of “Independent Azerbaijan as the
stronghold of the world Azerbaijani’s” dedicated to Day of Solidarity of
World Azerbaijani’s. Participants of the event were intellectuals, and
representatives of ministries and media. The focus of the literary
night was mainly about Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijani’s which
also highlighted vast contributions and efforts of the National Leader
Haydar Aliyev.
In her
speech, the guest of the event representative of the Ministry of Youth
and Sports Ms. Gunay Rahimova, especially mentioned social activity of
Qafqaz University students and stressed their creative success in
traditional festival of “Student Spring” which is held every year.
Journalist,
author, and correspondent of ANS TV Ganira Atashova noted that calling
world Azerbaijani’s to solidarity and acting as pioneers of this
initiative is a history tradition and mission of independent Azerbaijan
Republic. Today, both academic staff and students of Qafqaz University
carry out this mission with their dignity.
During
the program student groups and clubs demonstrated literary and artistic
performances. Literary night was memorable with the brilliant
performance of the student groups and national, cultural and historical
traditions of Azerbaijani Turks.
