JFDP Fellowship Achievement for Study and Research in the United States
Lecturer of the Department of English language
and literature, Dr. Heydar Eminli receives a JFDP fellowship for study
and research in the United States. He was designated as a fellow for
the 2012-2013 Junior Faculty Development Program, a program funded by
the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs
and administered by American Councils for International Education.
The competition is open to university faculty from Caucasus, Central Asia and Southeast Europe countries.
The goal of the program is to contribute to the development of higher education in participating countries, provide selected university instructors in the fields of humanities and social sciences with opportunities to engage in curriculum development and explore alternative teaching methodologies. Participants in JFDP are also encouraged to forge relationships with U.S. host institutions and their home universities in order to support ongoing contact and collaboration.
